sony vaio fs315e

I have a sony vaio laptop.
My power is only shown in percentage
is there any programs that will show me how long i have left in terms of time in batttery life - that doesnt have to have an original stated time first

also does any1 know how to get the vaio entertainment software back on this laptop as its not shown on the website
None of my "fn" shortcuts work and my shortcut buttons seperate from the keyboard work after uninstalling certain vaio software but i dont know which:S

Well all I can say is try pulling out the CD's that came with the laptop. The programs needed/wanted should be in there. If you want, you can do a simple restoration and reset it back to when you bought it. You can try popping in the CD and look for the programs, hopefully they've got it as a program install. You can also check here for the exact programs you may need to get the Fn control working.

none of the software was on cd's, it was pre-installed
when i do the restoration - i get an SQL error everytime i log and and none of the vaio software can be removed at all - saying its missing support fiels
i will check that link tomorow - thanks very much
