I was in the market for a new TV Tuner. I was just not sure what to look for. Does the brand matter? Anything to stay away from or any suggestions? I know I want PCI, remote, coax, and FM radio. Money is no option but then again I dont wanna spend 800 dollars on a TV tuner card, something reasonable, 200max. Please help me out. Thanks.

Yeah, the WinTV PVR series would be a great choice. I can't remember right off what's special about the 350, but the 150 MCE(what I have) is wonderful.
The only problem about these is the buffer causes a pretty bad lag. Watching TV it's fine, but if you play a video game or something, everything showing on the screen is about 3 seconds behind what's actually happening. |
