I cant seem to get explorer to open on my new computer I am building. I have loaded xp media center as the operating system. When I try to open explorer, a text box opens asking me what program I want to open it with, ie notepad, wordpad, paint, media center, etc. Also, the icon is not the typical small e, but a square text box. When I go to "RUN" and type in iexplore, it says windows cant find iexplore. However, when I try to load internet explorer off of a cd from the microsoft web site, it wont take the file, saying windows detected a newer version. Any ideas? I am a complete novice at building your own computer thing, and would appreciate any help.

Just found out some info on media center edition. When it asks for the sp2 disk, after the first 2 disks are installed, they want the first disk put back in!! Give me a break Microsoft! As if my first build isnt going to be tough enough without going through all of this...... I will try this and report back.
