a little more info?

it sounds like it might be a power problem, you might not have enough power for the vid card but again i need more info like

when you see it
how long
does it affect anything? like mousing over it does something to the line, and if not its probably the monitor

it will come on after playing games, visualisations in media player, winamp etc...

i thought it may be lack of power, it has a 4 pin molex connector and off that one i have it powering a HD, Floppy and a DVD drive....

maybe that is the problem, it looks like that is the only way i can wire it though, lack of wires!!

Default Also

Check that the monitor cable is tight in place at the back of the GFX card. However, it does seem that either the GFX card or some software issue sis behind it.

take a screenshot, if it appears on the screenshot than it is software and not your monitor.
