Need a sound driver for my xp dimension 4700

I just wiped my system and need a link to a sound driver. I am really terrible witht the computer so an url would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

ugh... if your really bad with computers chances are that you have the stock one thats probally intergradted in to the mother board. what mother board do you have? look on your mother board site for drivers or you might have a driver cd that came with the comptuer with the drivers on it

well you have the same computer as i do so open up the computer and do you see any pci cards in there?

My cd with the drivers on it does not work for some reason or another isnt there a link wwhere I can find a sound drivier. My friend found one before but he is not available now.

It wont install it says the application is missing.

then you probably have integrated sound. can you open the sidepanel of yor computer and see if there is any PCI cards on the motherboard.
