Exclamation Please help me its about weather my cpu is compatible with my motherboard

i bought this motherboard from ebay

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Elitegroup-ECS...QQcmdZViewItem

but i also bought a AMD Sempron Processor 64bit processor (cpu) aswell.

i thought it would work fine but i was reading the cpu box it said

AMD sempron with 128kb cache
operates at 1800MHZ

But the motherboards said 800MHZ if ya get what i mean

Would i be able to squeeze this out of the motherboard even tho its a 1800MHZ processor in a 800MHZ

Bacically can i change a setting in the bios to allow me to do this

Plz help i need the com for work

800Mhz is the Hypertransport link speed on socket 754 CPUs, including that Sempron. It's not the actual CPU speed, and the CPU should work without any changes.
