I connect mouse & keyboard to a non-powered USB hub (4 ports) and connect USB hub to a Dell laptop (having USB 2.0).
When turning PC on, the laptop takes approx 3 minutes to recoginze the mouse & keyboard. Do you know why ? I report this to the store and get 2 different answers from 2 sales persons : FIRST GUY : he said the USB hub used must be USB 2.0 to be compatible with port from Dell laptop. He asked me to buy non-powred USB hub 2.0 SECOND GUY : the USB hub used is a non-powered one, that's why it didn't have enough power to feed both mouse & keyboard. He suggested me buy the powered USB hub (with AC adaptor) and it can resolve the problem. Which solution is correct ? How can I resolve my problem ? Thanks |
