After you get a sound card i would honestly invest in a nice pair of Home Stereo speakers and a reciever. The output of the PC goes to any input of the reciever, like AUX. Then the reciever powers a nice stereo pair of speakers. Don't waste your money on a "5.1" system that has 5 shitty little speakers that have about $.10 in parts.
