Lol, there has been many strands of this myth. i swear that this happened. This guy called me and asked me if it was true that if a computer over heats the radiation could possibly cause an atom to split and cause a nuclear explosion!

I have 3 computers running, but they are only on when I am awake.

If they were dangeous then I would have a problem as I can only use them in my room. I don't think they are to harmful.

The only problem that I found with leaving one or multiple computers running 24/7 in your room is that sometimes the fans can be quite annoying, especially when the computer gets hot or is doing a large amount of processing. But with all things, you will adjust to it over time.

I have heard that you should not keep electronic devices such as tvs or computers in your room as they will/can distract you from getting a good nights rest. Computers can also raise the temperature of the room and ideal sleeping conditions are meant to be in cool and dark places.
