Windows Update Errors

I have 2 routers on my network. 1 router connected to the internet and a wireless netgear router the wireless router is connected to my pc.
I got a prob with the windows update site, I can access it but it doesnt search for updates and the pop up with the microsoft agreement doesnt pop up. I havent got any pop up blocker software installed. I think my routers are blocking it from accessing my com. I tried enabling DMZ on both routers but with no luck. I tried openning all the ports and it still doesnt work. Does anybody have any suggestions?
