Static coming from speaker..need help

Hello

I just installed the software for the Logitech Fusion Quickcam and now my speakers has alot of static. I uninstalled the software but still the same problem. When I listen to my mp3 you just hear static. What can it be causing the problem? I never had this problem before. Could it be the speakers or the sound card? It works 50% of the time and the other 50% is static. Please let me know what I can do. Thank you for ur help in advance.

do you know what type of sound card you have

I have a Creative Sound Blaster Live. Nothing special nothing new just a regular one.
