I'm looking into to buying a new computer but am on a budget. What could i get from between 700-800 dollars. I'd be using it mostly as a gaming computer but would also like to run a wide vareity of software on it. It could be anything from a stock computer to a build your own. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

well you could try DELL or some where like that but you will probably have to pay alot more for a prebuilt system.

The 80 gig hard drive that he listed on there for $53...You can get better for cheaper. On Sunday...or maybe Monday at Staples...they are having a sell.
200 GB hard drive for $39.99. It's normaly $119.99 but $40 instant savings and then a $40 dollar mail-in rebate. So yes, it will cost you 79.99 at first..but you'll get 40 back. Much bigger, cheaper and better. Same goes for you memory..to save a bit. It's PC3200..512 DDR400 for 39.99 a stick. He has listed PC4000 for you. I'm not sure it's worth it to go PC4000. Your motherboard is designed for PC3200 so I would stick with that. It's backwards compatible only so you'll actually probably hurt performance |
