Default Help with new Computer

I'm looking into to buying a new computer but am on a budget. What could i get from between 700-800 dollars. I'd be using it mostly as a gaming computer but would also like to run a wide vareity of software on it. It could be anything from a stock computer to a build your own. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

well you could try DELL or some where like that but you will probably have to pay alot more for a prebuilt system.

That looks like a good solid all round system, a little overclocking (if you want to!) and it could fly!

The 80 gig hard drive that he listed on there for $53...You can get better for cheaper. On Sunday...or maybe Monday at Staples...they are having a sell.

200 GB hard drive for $39.99. It's normaly $119.99 but $40 instant savings and then a $40 dollar mail-in rebate. So yes, it will cost you 79.99 at first..but you'll get 40 back. Much bigger, cheaper and better.

Same goes for you memory..to save a bit. It's PC3200..512 DDR400 for 39.99 a stick. He has listed PC4000 for you. I'm not sure it's worth it to go PC4000. Your motherboard is designed for PC3200 so I would stick with that. It's backwards compatible only so you'll actually probably hurt performance

Well, what about Alienware Computers? They are the best gaming computer at all time. You may have to look it up because I haven't been there for a month or more... The price may be changed and expensive, but i'm sure there is some computer is between $700-800
