I have noticed that when someone is selling a cpu they state if it has been overclocked. Now I am wondering are you more inclined to buy it or less inclined to buy it if it has been overclocked?
I am thinking of selling an old rig I have but before I do I wanna try and overclock, but if less people would buy it then I dont wanna overclock it. Thanks. |

I'd never even consider buying it. How would you know if it weren't burnt out? How could you guarantee it's still working? Has it been overheated? What sort of heatsink? Was operation stable? What warranty is offered?
Those reasons alone are why I'd only buy new-in-box CPU's. Tom

well, yeh, but if u buy a second hand PC, whos to say that they are just lying, saying its not overclocked when actually its the same CPU they had in the liquid nitrogen setup just last week. (exaggeration, lol)
