its pretty much exactly the same things as MSN Messenger, but much less features.

It somehow got deleted from my computer, and I do not want to use MSN messenger. I could not find it on the microsoft site.

Any third party websites have a copy of it?

Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove programs > Add/Remove Windows Components > Select Windows Messenger > Finish.

Neither worked. I don't know what the first one did, and the second one said I needed the WinXP Disk, which I lost.

you fail the validation thing...and dont have a disk? it sounds like illegal copy to me.
