7800GT: 20 pipeline G70 core for PCIe only
7800GS: 16 pipeline G70 core for AGP only The 7800GT is much better performing even though its cheaper. It doesnt really matter though because you've got PCIe so get the 7800GT. The brands are basicly all the same. The differences are in clockspeed, arenty and packaged accesorys. EVGA and XFX are both really good companys, but I would get the eVGA because there warenty is better. (anything but physical damage) Keep in mind their special lifetime warenty only applies to models ending in "AX" EDIT: I see you've already bought the card, but thats the difference.
