Ok I bought my laptop from dell a few months ago the dell inspirion 9300. Im looking for a laptop for my girlfriend and they discontinued the inspirion 9300 and put in the Inspiron E1705 in its place. The only real difference is that the Inspiron E1705 has duel core processors instead of the single processor on the 9300. Well ok but here are the specs and the prices please provide the feedback of what you think.
My Inspirion 9300 Intel Pentium M 1.73GHZ 1 gig of RAM Nvidia Geforce 6800 Go 256mb 100gb HDD 5400rpm Windows XP multi media Carrying Case Wireless Ready Card 17 inch widescreen CD/DVD burner This is my laptop and I got it for 1500. Ok so here is the laptop spec of the one they speced for my girlfriend. Inspiron E1705 Intel Pentium M 1.66GHZ 666mhz Duel Core Processors 1 gig of RAM Integrated Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 900 60 gig HDD 5400rpm Windows Xp multi media No Carrying Case Wireless Ready Card 17 inch widescreen CD/DVD Burner This laptop is for 1495 close to that. Now I just want a honest opinion which one do you think is the better pick? And is the duel core processor really that big of a difference. And on the side my laptop is the Intel Pentium 1.73GHZ and the other one is Intel Pentium 1.66GHZ duel core. Can someone explain to me in good terms of the difference you would if any that you would see? ok thank you for your time and much appricated!
