I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop running Windows XP Home Edition. I've installed a Linksys PCMCIA wireless adapter and am trying to connect to a Linksys G router.
The laptop sees the router and the correct SSID but will not connect. I have the proper drivers for the card. Everything seems to be in order. It even seems to be passing packets. The laptop connects just fine when hard wired. Thanks in advance Dirkpitt289

Check under the router settings to see if it is designed to only accept connections from certain cards, i know my netgear was that way. I could see it but i couldn't connect, once i opened that setting it worked great.
