I bought protools program for $600 and I have lost the CD while moving.
I do have it installed in my home computer, but need it on my laptop to take it with me - if I got an usb external hard drive, and dumped all the data in my home computer to the drive, will the protools program work on my laptop, if I connect the usb external drive to the laptop?

Is there a program I can download that will do that? Dump e v e r y thing to an external drive?
