Question Sealing up a case to control airflow?

Hey, i just recently built a case for my server that was completly sealed except for a fan port, and a hole at the other end of the case. This moved air over the cpu heatsink and the hdd, edzactly where i wanted air flow. It works good and so i am thinking about doing it to my main case. PLugging all the holes, except where i want air to flow. WOuld this be a good idea? Thanks.

well i would think there would be alot of air holes around the side panel, and if you plugged those up then i would think it would be hard to open it up to change components. But it sounds like a good idea.

yea, i am more concerned about the gaping holes. The only thing is if my 120MM out performs my two 80MM fans, then it wouldnt have the right airflow, o well, ill post on before and after temps.

Sweet. The sealing worked good. I am getting about 4C less on all my temps. The airflow comes threw the front of my case, and out the back. Since the two 80MM combined has more CFM then the 120MM in the back of my case, all the extra air goes out an empty PCI slot. The air flow goes past my hdd, threw my CPU heatsink, and out the back or the case. There is also about 8CFM going out the empty PCI slot so i am getting good airflow by my Video card. Works great. I am happy with it.
