Ok I just got the last of my computer parts and I want to know how to take of the I/O sheild thats on the case and put on the one included with the motherboard. Do I just break it of with a flat screw driver and snap the new one in?

Hehe, if you don't need it anymore(and nothing's in the case) I take the butt of a screw driver and bash it into the case
Works every time the first time, you just might bend it up a bit

ok now I have another problem I tried to put the heatsink over the CPU and the little peace of metal that attaches to the hinges on both sides wont flex enough for me to get it over the top hinge. I tried as hard as I possibly can to get it on the hinge but it is just a bit short of getting there. Is there any trick to getting it on there? Nevermind I got it

Rambo - NASTY mind
![]() liuliuboy - I bet we've all had our fair share of cuts from our computer cases. One of my friends had to get stitches after trying to get a dummy off the front of the case(he pushed it out from the inside...) But yeah, I try to keep my hands off the metal as much as possible as it really can mess you up

I went to comp USA because my old keyboard wasnt working with BIOS and I ended up getting a $10 keyboard and that fancy logitech mouse with the dents in it (I thought about getting a zboard instead but I really didnt want a ball mouse anymore). Anyways now I found out the cd drive and hdd from the emachine were crap
I should've fit new ones into my budget. So now its postponed until I get a new HDD and a cd drive so I can instll windows or until I can get something worked out. Im using the mouse on my family PC and its awesome .
