Hi...btw may i just say that any help in advance will be greatly appreciated!

These problems started right after I had installed Spyware Doctor and had deleted a whole load of spyware infections becasue my PC looked a bit slow on performance.........now some things have got worse: -

1)When I now open windows media player and play a song...it suddenly shuts down after a second or two!!!
Sometimes there is an error report and i got a few details from it - does this help?

2)When i connect to the internet (AOL for me), it shows that I have connected but I can't log on to any websites [Therefore this is why i am using the downstairs computer to post my thread]

3)My computer quite frequently automatically restarts itself even when i'm in the middle of something!!!

it seems like you have some kind of syware/virus, try reading this:
Basic Malware Prevention
it should help you, and post up[ a hijackthis log, some people on here can understand what they mean and sort most things out, personally i aint a clue though
