Default new Harddrive died?

well, after pushing my overclock to about 3.7GHz, i think my new 250GB SATAII WD died... i have no idea why? it shows up in my BIOS, reads it right, the comes to the screen talking about safe mode, safe mode with networking, and all of that crap... but when i select any of them, it doesnt work.... my IDE drive still boots, but could it be that my spicific SATA spot died?
