Fraps Help!

Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe
Amd 64 bit hypertransport
PNY 7800 gt
Win XP prof

When running fraps with World of warcraft my game crashes. What happins is the red letters on top when recording turn back yellow and my game Freeze's up for about 2-3 sec's.... Then i can move in game for about 1-2 sec's.. After that my whole PC lock's up. I have the most current verison of fraps and video drivers. Also i use to beable to run fraps on my old computer with Wow with no problems. I just wiped out this pc last night and the problem is still here.. Any help would be great thanks alot.

what model cpu is it, how much ram do you have, how big and what type is our hard drive?

Its a amd althon 64 bit with HT tech.... 2.7gbits
My hardrive is like 50-70gb open space

also i dont remember the model of my hardrive all i know is i had a computer with half the specs of my New one and it ran fraps and World of warcraft fine. Any help man would be great thank for you time in advance.

Im thinkin it has something to do with DirectX as thats what Fraps runs with (or OpenGL) so try goin to http://www.microsoft.comand try gettin the newest version of DirectX
