Default DWL-G122 A1 usb wireless adapter drivers for Ubuntu linux

is there a way to make the above wireless adapter work in ubuntu linux? the company doesnt make linux drivers itself. i am a total noob at linux so any help/answers will pretty much need to be spelled out. thanks in advance.

search for [whatever the model is] drivers
that normally will bring up a decent sized list of third party drivers for most hardware

thanks, i think you meant google.com/linux. none of it made any sense to me tho. a bunch of stuff about a wrapper or typing something (but idk where to type it) or something like that. i didnt get it. me=linux noob.
