OK, so best solutions so far are build your own - or use an old sound card. New mobos have 7.1 sound, and I am going to install a 16-bit sound card to run my old joystick???

Well if that's what it takes...

So, can I run the sound through the onboard chip and still use the joystick through the (last-century) sound card?
