Default How exactly can I use my monitor as a TV??

I heard about TV tuners. I heard that I can order TV tuner with Windows Media Centre software. And I also heard I can get TV tuner when buying VGA card. I also heard I can get it when I buy a monitor. Are all these the very same TV tuner?? That means I only need one from these, right?

I would like to use my monitor as my TV too. And I would like to be able to record Smackdown and RAW programs into my HardDrive.

to use yor tv as a monitor, all you need is a video card with a tv friendly output, typically most cards have an s-video out. As far as recording stuff, you either need a card with VIVO or a tv tuner to get the stuff on your computer

You said "to use my TV as a monitor". What I want is the other way around.

About recording stuff, I only need one of the two? So, I can get a card with VIVO, or I can just get a TV tuner?

I was giving you both sides, but yeah, one or the other, but I would suggest a tv tuner, it would be a lot simpler to set up and use
