Actually Thrash Metal comes from the British metal scene in the 70's with bands like Tigers of Painan (however its spelt), Motorhead, Diamond Head. Metallica brought it to the American masses. Like i said I love Metallica and Pantera, but I just think there is much better overall guitar players out there. Now in Metal and Thrash Metal They are tops. Good choices either way both are amazing
