i use DeepBurner - Powerful CD and DVD burning package works. you can get a ripper from the same company for free. it burns DVD and CD. i havent tried using DL DVD with it. i think it is reading my DVD speeds wrong. it uses the DL speed for single layer. its small and clean and works for me.
