Question Write Protected for Quicken 5

hello all, i have a situation... my mom needs to back up the accounts from her quicken 5 program.. and its not working for her... so now i have involuntarily inherited this problem.. i put a basic CD-RW blank into the drive (yes it is a writer) and select backup in quicken... and select the F drive to backup onto.. i get a "Not able to write to disc" message... i went back and checked My Computer to see if the computer was reading the blank cd and it was... so im in a rut... and suggestions/solutions would be greatly apreciated

What OS do you have ? if you have xp it should work
try using a CD-R , instead of a CD-RW.
if that does not work , make a folder somewhere , call it something like quicken backup. Do the back up to that and then burn that folder to a CD-R.
