Default USB modem to HUB To PC and X360 (HELP) please

Hi ppl. I have a little problem.

I have a Bulldog connection (USB MODEM) linked up to PC.
I also have a X360 and want it on the NET. But i don`t want to network the x360 through the pc coz i dont want them both on !.

So i was thinking of getting a usb hub/switch. then pluggin the USB MODEM to the HUB then plug the X360 & PC to the HUB.

Would it share the connection to both ?, here is what im getting.

USB 4+1 PORT HUB
x2 USB cables

Will this even work ? & do i have the right components ?

Cheers for your time ppl.

No, but a router would.

hub: is just a split internet connection. Does not create a connection. All pc's hooked to a HUB get all the same bombardment of information.

Switch: Is like a hub but better, because it only send info to the applicable pc.

Router: Acts like a switch, has a firewall and can log on to your connection.

Currently the settings in your PC log onto the ISP for service through the USB modem.

yep, like trizoy said just get a router with ADSL modem, the link to the USB hub you shows just added 4 USB ports onto your ocmputer, and would not allow you to cconnect the xbox anyway

this looks like a good wired router with adsl modem:

i have teh version that has just 1 ethernet port and it is excellent

but if you want to go wireless then this is a good buy:

Edit:typo above, sorry if there was any wrong advice
