Default problem with hard drive

i hooked up another hard drive n now everytime i reboot i have a error message pop up that says, SMART failure predicted on hard disk 2 WARNING immediatly back up ur data n replace your hard disk drive, a failure may be imminent. press f1 to contuie ...nottin seems to be ackin funny ...just wonderin if someone could give me a heads up on this ..thx for any help u can give ...

run chkdsk on it and see what it says about the drive
