Alright, before I continue I would like to say I legaly bought my copy of half-life 2.
When your playing half-life 2 sometimes if I open up console when playing the game I have noticed that the file "wind1.wav" is missing. At some sites it sais it is a secret sound, while others say its just to make you uneasy. Now please set the record strait. Is this some kinda joke? Do I just need to reinstall the game? Whats up with this file? |

i looked on google and i found a reference to a problem with the game's cache files. they may be corrupted, the only thing i can suggest is to uninstall the game and reinstall it.. i know its not a nice process but its simple and effective.
if you still get the problem afterwards i would get into contact with customer support
