Well if you are talking about the actual OS system cleaning (if you are using windows then you can do the following)

you can control your start up items:
Start/Run type in "msconfig" (without the quotes) click OK then go to the last tab called "Startup" then you can uncheck and check what you want to startup when ur PC starts up... Edit: If you aren't sure about certain startup items you can find out about them here |
