1st build, trouble installing OS.

I'm a 1st time builder and now that I've got everything hooked up I need to install an OS. When I put in the disk, Operating System not Found. I changed the boot order so that CD-Rom was first but the problem still persists.

for whatever reason, it isn't even booting from the cd-rom and it's just seeing an empty hard drive.

make sure your cd rom is jumpered as master, and on its own IDE cable. make sure the harddrive is also jumpered as master.
