She just bought an HP a1310n from office depot, it has a SATA 200 gig hard drive, 16X DVD Burner, and 1 Gig of Ram,onboard video onboard sound
Great PC!!! With one exception....She Hates XP Media Edition... She wants me to wipe her hard drive and install XP Pro on there for her... My Question is this ...How do I "Wipe " the SATA Hard drive? Ive never dealt with Sata before and Im just a bit nervous about it...There are two partitions one for system "Backup" and the larger partition for the os...etc... Thanks , GALAXY |

Sata will work the same and act the same as an IDE/ATA harddrive like your used to, with a few exceptions.
