I've heard something about physics cards that will do all the calculation of in game physics which will take work off the cpu, might have somethng to do with that, but my guess is a shot in the dark so don't take it as truth

well it could be the release of the 7900's b/c the 7900's are due march 9th and on thier ad it says

Nvidia doesnt make graphic cards.

it will be a physics card, sounds like a nice addon when you consider how much strain this will take off the other components in the system... a new term is gonna start flying around and it'll be PPU

i have heard the PPU before. i'm guessing it will be the phys card. BUT is there like DX or OpenGL for physics? there has to be a common languge to get these cards to work with games. just think phys cards in SLI! for braking glasss or any other partical physics in games these cards will be amazing. 512mb GDDR3 w/ 550Mhz core clock(made up specs). yeah that will gaming to the next level.
