Sometimes when i burn DVD's, my DVD burner kind of freezes during the 'writing to DVD' process. It stops randomly, sometimes at 3%, sometimes at 80%. I just have to try about 3 times before it finishes burning.
I am using DVD Shrink and have quite a new DVD burner. Can anyine help

you may be burning to quickly and need ot slow down the burn speed

yeah slow down the write speed. I had similar problems with my burner and slowing down the speed fixed the problem

Try to save the DVD Image into your Hard drive and then burn it into your DVD at full speed. You don't have to lower down your write speed.
If it still freeze, even when you copying the image from hard drive into DVD, then I would say that there must be some error/bug in your Windows.. To check if it really the windows, Try to connect that DVD burner into other desktop computer and check.. |

I am not sure what brand, but It got 5 stars in PC USER and it was the last of its type. DVD Shrink always makes my burning speed the fastest. I burn all media, from home movies, and my movies so when I rent them out to friends they don't ruin it, like they usually do. Ill try the program someone said up the top. I am burning with Nero 6 after DVD SHrink saves the dvd files to the hard drive

You know nkbswe5, it's technically illeagal to posses the burned copy without the original according to the Digital Millenium Copyright Act (DMCA). Just something to think about.
