ill try to explain better.

in my desk i have a cabinet that my computer goes into. it just is a hole thats 2 feet tall 2 feet deep and 1 foot wide. and it has a door on it. its just a place that i put my computer so that you cant see it and its out of the way. but in the cabinet there is no ventilation at all. so im afraid my computer will get hot because of that. in my computer i have 1 120mm fan in the front for an intake, then an 80mm fan on the side for an exhaust, and another 120mm fan on the back for an exhaust. so its going to be blowing quite a bit of air around. so for that in the cabinet i took some sound dampening material (like what you put in your car to make stuff from not rattleing) and i put 2 layers of it all on the inside of the cabinet. to keep the noise down. so what i was thinking about getting to keep it cool in the computer cabinet is a fan controller for some fans that i could build into my actual desk. so it would be behind my computer in the cabinet thats in my desk. what i wanted to do is put 2 or 3 120mm fans built right into my desk as an exhaust to pull that air out of there. and then on the top of my desk. like where my monitor is, i would build a fan controller into my hutch so that i could control the 2 or 3 fans that are built into my desk. now my concern lies in the fact that i dont know if i can get a cable that will be long enough to reach the PSU the fan and the fan controller. but it seems like a really good idea so i thought i would look into it. so if anyone knows if they make a fan cable that is about 3-4 feet long let me know. otherwise i think ill have to have my electrical engineer of a friend make them for me.
thanks for the long read!
let me know!
