Help with ICS

I have a wireless usb network adapter connected to this computer, and am trying to use ICS to connect my playstation 2 to this computer with a crossover cable. When I try to enable internet sharing in the network connections window, it tells me that

"an error occurred while internet connection sharing was being enabled : The specified service does not exist as an installed service."

When I plug the ps2 in, it seems to recognize it, and it sends packets, but doesn't recieve anything. Help!
