Default CS:source question

Can i use a game controller in this game or is it still keypad ?

i dont like using keypad. What other "shooter" games uses controllers ?

It uses WASD and a mouse. Why do you want a controller? It should work but the aim is inferior, trust me your going to get pwnd unless you switch to keyboard and mouse.

Prob. any good controller will work. You'd have allot of work in the controllers settings setting it up for the game however. Most good controllers will let you customize the buttons and you could choose keyboard keystrokes. You can also use the controller for mouse movements so the game would just think your using a keyboard and mouse.

Oh my..... Yea I could not agree more. A first person shooter with a controller? ouch. I cannot see that going over very well playing against someone with a keyboard and mouse. I love my Logitech cordless Rumblepad 2 but I'd never consider it for a FPS style game.

Whenever I play Halo 2 on my xbox i can never get the aiming down to pinpoint like with a mouse... it frustrates me.

Don't they usually let you choose your own movement like in halo one skidude. Hey, can you pm me your msn skidude.

get a ps/2 converter for the xbox and use mouse and keyboard.
