Hi all
Recently bought 2 OCZ PC3200 1GB sticks of RAM. Popped them in my pc along with 2 Infineon 512mb pc3200 sticks and nothing happens (PC boots up, but nothing displayed in monitor). The OCZ sticks will work individually and on their own only. If you pair up the OCZs they still don’t work. The motherboard I’m using is the Asus Puffer (comes with a HP PC) so I don’t have access to any features on the motherboard. Processor is P4 3.4ghz HT. If you have any information of this it would be much appreciated. Many thanks |

Did you take out the Infineon, before you tried the two sticks of OCZ? Sometimes it's not a good ideal to cross different brands, espacialy if you want to dual-channel (unless the specs are exactly the same).

All the ram have the same specs and yes I did remove the Infineon before popping in the OCZ. I popped in both OCZs and the PC would not boot (nothing displayed on monitor). All the ram have the following timings 3-3-3-8 and are all 2.6v. One OCZ stick will work on its own but when put in with the other OCZ stick, nothing happens. Any other ideas?
