Default Geforce 5500FX 256MB vs. ATI Radeon 9600SE 128MB

I have a GeForce 5500FX and the Radeon 9600SE is about $ 50 dolallrs more and i was just wondering which card is better overall and what options each offers....i mainly care about the game not lagging at high graphic settings.

I'm guessing here but I believe the 9600SE is prob. better but like I said it's just a guess :-).
