Unable to scan for windows updates could someone help, I am running windows XP pro edition.

is it legit? if so do you have ActiveX and is it updated?

Do you mean that your computer won't scan. Have you tried altering the settings on the Update times at the System Properties?

Try the Microsoft Security & Updates Centre (
