What's the difference between a tactical shooter and first person shooter. I noticed Medal Of Honor was First Person Shooter and the game i just bought "Rainbow Six 3" is a Tactical Shooter. Does that mean Rainbow six is going to be completely different from Medal of Honor?

First Person is just a perspective. Most shooter games are first person. Medal of Honor is a Run n' Gun game; a game where you pretty much just keep going through the stage while shooting at anything that moves. A tactical shooter type of game takes time and strategy, you can't just run through the level and shoot, you'll have to go slowly and take out your targets according to the situation.
Run n' Gun games: Halo, Halo 2, Medal of Honor, Battlefield 2, SW: Battlefront, SW: Battlefront II Tactical Shooter: Ghost Recon, Counter Strike, Rainbow 6 series

Summed up in two or three words:
Tactical Shooter: Slow-paced, taking your time, stealthly. First-Person Shooter: Fast-paced, usually taking no mercy, using up alot of ammo. I'm a big of the Socom Series and Splinter Cell Series.

Although the original Rainbow Six and Rogue Spear are classified as tactical shooters, it only really applies to singleplayer and only if you want to employ it, like use a team, commands, etc. If you are good you can of course just run n' gun through any map. Rogue Spear multiplayer is one of if not THE fastest paced fps ever. It whoops CS 1.6, CS:S, Quake 2, Quake 3, and many more. If you don't think so, you haven't played it.
Edit: Or you're really bad.
