Question CPU-Z on Memory - Is this right?

Alright guys. My memory is being reported as 100MHz (see below), but it's PC3200, good for up to 200MHz. Am I going crazy, or is my memory running at half spec?

I've got 2 slots filled with 512MB of DDR400 a piece. Is CPU-Z saying what it should say?

is your memory set to run at 100Mhz in the BIOS?

The FSB is 200MHz, and there are no dividers set on the board im using at the moment, a MSI K8T Neo2.

That's my point, everything's pretty much as default with the board, and my memory is DDR400.

If you've put the RAM sticks into the wrong slots (e.g. DIMMs 2 & 3), it can force DDR200 depending on the mobo.

OK, so what you're saying is that my memory is in fact running at half spec. In that case I'll look into a possible cause. I just didn't want to be doing that if it was a known reporting error with CPU-Z or something.

Thanks guys for your help.

It's Kingston, don't worry m8 I've sorted the problem. My memory was indeed running at half spec. Ceewi1 hit the nail on the head. Recently I seem to have been swapping and changing motherboards constantly. Well last time I did so I was really tired thru lack of sleep and I must have gone dyslexic on the memory slots. Cheers for your help guys.
