i want to update the bios of a Compaq Presario 700 laptop? what do i do?

and what more do you need to know aobut the laptop?

wait nvrm... this might sound like a noobie question... but i am installing windows media center on a laptop that previously had XP Home on it...
will a bios update be needed?
