Guys, I having a dekstop p4 running on XP pro. My location in Malaysia. The main fix telephone line supplier is name TM. And very minor areas supplier by third party.
Unfortunately my office located at third party phone line supplier area, I have no choice to use their phone line service. Due to the none of broadband ISP support the third party phone line, I have to use TM 56K dial up connection services to connect to internet. Which mean my phone line and internet connection are from diffrent supplier. As i check with both supplier, the progress is like this, through my phone line provider, connect to TM server. Previously I have no problem at all, I able to connect to internet using third party phone line dial to TM internet services. But till last two months, I having an error code of 691, which is wrong user name and password. I've check with Phone line provider and also ISP. ISP told me my password had change. And they provide me a new password, I tried my new password but still the same error happen. I've check with both of them more than hundred times, none of them are willing to responsible in this and claimed that my phone line and Internet connection account are fine. Eventually I took my CPU to my friend place and I able to dial and connect from there. Which suppose to mean nothing wrong with my modem nor my cpu. Afterall I tried to dial with my laptop in office, same error shown. And one thing very weird is, I asked other friend of mine using my internect username and password to dial from his place, he able to dial and connect with OLD PASSWORD!!. I have no idea of what a weird problem is this. My phone line and IS Provider refuse to responsible on it. I've check with telephone line technician, my phone line voltage 49V, which should not have any problem with internet. But still I unable to connect to internet, same error 691. Can anyone tell me please. I wanted to apologize for my poor english. Perhaps whomever read my thread able to understand. Thank you all very much |
