Peachesbackwards Silver Member Join Date: Feb 2006 Posts: 144	Routers Are You Better Off Paying $5 A Month from Cable Company? would welcome your opinions on this. I have my Internet Service through Time Warner' Roadrunner. I just updated my service to wifi for which Time Warner supplies a Modem/Router & a WiFi Card for $5 more a month. Am I better off saving the $5 a month & buying my own Modem/Router & card or because of detoriioration & updated technology better off paying the extra $5 a month for their router/modem?
