router problem

hi
this is my 1st post and i didnt know what section to place it in so i hope this will be ok.
i have a router ADSL MR4C/UK Mentor and i run a small web server but when people try to connect to it they get my login screen to my router? i do have a small booklet with it but it realy tells you nothing at all. can anyone help plz

Um...routers are networking so this should, quite obviously, be in the networking section

With cable, you just need to open up port 80 for your computer's IP, and you're basically good to go... However, with DSL's more dynamic IP, I beleive there are more problems. I've never tried to setup a web server using DSL but I've heard from some more unreliable sources it's not possible.

i wasnt sure which section it should have gone into, i just took a wild guess. btw yesterday i was using a ADSL modem and the site was running fine but for some reason the connection kept dropping so i changed to a router. but thanks for letting me know where it should be posted
