Good idle temp for 6800GS

I have an XFX 6800GS and the idle temp for it is 50 - 53c Ambient 39c

Is this a good temp?

seems a bit high for idle, what is it under load?

it "used" to be 70c. But i changed cases and everythigns cooler. It seems to be 48c idle since i tidyed up inside this morning. It says the danger for it is 125c and its only like 72c load after a whole day on games so... is that idle ok?

my friend has the 6800 GS and he idles in the low forties and he says that it rarely ever goes over 55

weird! I have the PCI-E connector in... OH WAIT i forgot to say its the XFX high end model of the 6800GS its factory overclocked.

I have the Inno3D Version of the card and its overclocked at 500/1120, idle is 40 (right now) and load never gets higher than 75c

my friend put some AS5 onto his card, and he has his comp in the basement where its really cold.

Depends on alot of things. Anything from room temp, to the weather outside to the cpu can affect the temp
